Introduction of the Opto-Mechatronic Technology Research Center (OMTC)
The Opto-Mechatronics Technology Center (OMTC) was established in NTUST in 2003. OMTC aims to develop the opto-mechatronic systems integrated with optical, mechanical, electronic, and information technologies.
Missions of the OMTC
- To develop the core technologies to meet the demanding requirements of the industries in Taiwan.
- To generate and execute university-industry collaboration programs.
- To perform the technology research oriented and education enhancement projects sponsored by the Minister of Education.
- To merge the advanced technologies into opto-mechatronic courses.
